Hot Melt glues for perfect binding divides into two major categories: EVA based and PUR based. Hot Melt glues DCA2013 and DCATAPR are EVA based (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate). Must be heated up to a temperature of 160/180°C to be used and it can be reheated over and over as reuse does not damage the polymer.DCA2013: standard glue in transparent white colour, guarantees excellent results thanks to durability and the perfect adhesion to the edges of the sheets. Ideal to be used with ordinary paper up to a maximum weight of 120 gsm. Also suitable for gluing thread sewed books.DCATAPR: special glue with very high strength bind, ideal for use with common and coated papers up to a maximum weight of 170 gsm. Recommended on perfect binders with adjustable temperatures (MAMO Lega 420) and adjustable pressure cover nipping station.
